A new electrical scooter rental platform was being created and needed a full brand identity that competes with the likes of UBER and V-Lib. Launching simultaneously in Vancouver and Beirut, Loop needed guidelines that are simple to integrate and straightforward. People in Lebanon are not used to the concept of shared scooters, so part of our challenge was to create an approachable brand that warms people up to the concept and showcases how useful this transportation solution is.
We created a modern, cool and approachable brand identity – from logo to colors, visuals, promotional items, and signage – rolled-out on all customer touchpoints. The vibrant orange became the visual cue for users to see the station from afar. Digitally, we designed and developed a user-friendly and mobile friendly website, the scooter digital dashboard and the companion mobile app.
The brand has garnered so much recognition in local and international markets, it made its way to Forbes Middle East Top 100 Startups List! The strong brand identity is key to the rapid adoption, with thorough guidelines that made the deployment of branches, fleet branding and social media flawless. This is all especially impressive since the Loop team has limited resources as a start-up and still managed to garner so many followers in its first month of operations.
