Founded in 2018, Kitopi is a managed cloud kitchen operation that partners with F&B brands and restaurants from all around the world and helps them reach new markets in as little as two weeks. From sourcing and cooking to packaging and safe delivery using a smart kitchen operating system (SKOS) – Kitopi contributes to optimize the supply chain of a normally carbon heavy industry, thus reducing the environmental foot print thanks to software technology data analytics in real time.
As part of our collaboration with Kitopi, we got to work on two different projects: Yawmi and Tawook Nation.
The first of these two concepts aimed to offer affordable and healthy home-cooked meals. We named the brand ‘Yawmi’, meaning “daily” in Arabic, to reinforce the idea that this could be your go-to app for everyday home-cooked lunch at the office. The slogan ‘homemade goodness every day’ came to emphasize and complement it. We went on creating the brand’s logo, identity, and menu. The absence of a physical shop meant we were to build trust online and get customers to form the right impression through the website journey and quality of images. UX and UI were developed in a way to make the client’s journey smooth and straightforward, highlighting the main dishes in the most appetizing way.
Tawook Nation came into existence with the aim of becoming the number one go-to destination for Tawook lovers in Dubai. To make this concept a successful one, we designed and developed a responsive online ordering platform through which visitors could customize their sandwich or platter, upgrade it to a combo and have it delivered to any of their saved addresses. The Tawook Nation website supported coupon codes which were used in online promotions, thus enabling the brand to bank on fun activations to keep customers coming back for more.
Both concepts took Dubai by storm by combining great tastes and the right tech. They allowed Kitopi to establish itself as a force to be reckoned with on the scene of cloud kitchens and expand its presence to more markets starting with neighboring Abu Dhabi.
