Juhaina is a Saudi Arabian brand of unwrapped Swiss chocolate, wrapped Belgian chocolate and Hala sweets. In a market saturated with premium, expensive international brands and low quality, cheaper local ones, Juhaina identified the need to combine the two: a brand that combines the sought after international quality, with a price-tag that matches the local offering. Our challenge was to portray that in the branding and image positioning.
We did an in-depth market research, finding the untapped positioning to base our brand revamp on. We then defined the brand persona and built on its characteristics a feminine visual identity with a warm, friendly and refined tone of voice, relatable to our target audience. We revamped the logo, store façade, interior design mood-boards, all the packaging elements, wrapping papers, and cake boxes.
Our intervention also included revamping their website entirely, building an easy to navigate platform that highlights the brand’s main products and simplifies the ordering process. As well as handling their ongoing communication campaigns and social media platforms.
As soon as one engages with Juhaina, there’s a sense of refinement that can only be matched by international big budget brands. This is clear in every element of branding, from store experience to online presence. All of this, combined with premium products and competitive pricing, makes Juhaina a top of mind brand for customers in this segment.
