After a little less than 2 decades of incubating successful start-ups, Berytech technology pole the pioneer of the start-up ecosystem in the MENA region was also one of the first to fuel innovation in the agriculture sector and give momentum to a new wave of farm-to-fork tech start-ups.
In 2017, the incubator launched Agrytech, a program that turns agri-food challenges into business opportunities. The yearly 3-phase program supports start-up companies by offering them the resources, knowledge, and funding to develop their idea and grow their reach.
We wanted Agrytech’s brand identity to reflect the core purpose of the program all the while looking corporate and bold. We placed the letter A front and centre, replacing one of the arms by a leaf form, thus creating a memorable monogram that combines agriculture/nature and the world of business. It is further complemented by a modern and unique type.
In our strive to have the brand stand out and connect it to nature, we used a gradient treatment over the entire logotype. The gradient explains the brand’s narrative: it starts with green over the agricultural part and transforms into blue over the “tech” part.
The program needed a website to act as the main platform for applications and resources sharing with the Agri-food innovators.
We designed and developed an interactive website that is flexible to edit and add new sections to. It included extensive application forms for the incubation program and a private log-in only section for participants to access essential resources, media and documents, necessary to their submission.
Now that it was equipped with the right brand identity and tech tools, Agrytech could go on catalysing innovations from farm to fork and providing Lebanese startups and SMEs with the tools, support, and resources needed to innovate a long-standing industry.
